On this 146 acres of interesting field, many culture and sports facilities can be found, next to interesting buildings such as our High tech labs for Technical Medicine, Virtual Reality, Design or Robotics.
Location
The University of Twente is located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, in the province of Overijssel. The campus of the University of Twente is based in the Twente region, between the cities of Hengelo and Enschede. The central address of the UT campus is Drienerlolaan 5, Enschede. Addresses of specific buildings can be found on the website of the University. The building ‘Horst’ in which the conference will be organized, can be found under the address ‘De Horst 2, 7522 LW, Enschede’.

By Car
Enter the address Drienerlolaan 5, Enschede as a destination in the navigation system to drive to the campus of the University of Twente.
- From the A1 motorway, take the A35 motorway towards Enschede.
- Then take exit no. 26 Enschede-West/Universiteit
- Follow the signs Universiteit
By Plane
If you travel by plane, usually you fly into Schiphol (AMS), the largest airport in the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam.
There is an intercity train from Schiphol that goes straight to Enschede Central Station. The trip from Schiphol to Enschede takes about two hours.
By Train
The UT campus is easily accessible by train and bus. Take a train to one of the train stations Hengelo, Enschede or Enschede Kennispark and follow the ‘Bus’ instructions.
By Bus
When you arrive at the train station in the city of Enschede, take bus line 1 to get off at one of the several bus stops on campus. Buses 8 or 9 will stop at the main entrance of the University Twente.
Second option: Switch trains in the city of Hengelo and travel further with a regional train to station Enschede Kennispark. This station is located within walking distance of the University of Twente main entrance (about 1 km). You could also take bus 1 to the university and get off at one of the stops on the campus.
